Design
We survey the site, calculate extraction volumes, specify fans, odour and noise control, and prepare drawings for council approval where needed.

Manufacture
Canopies, ductwork, stainless steel fabrications and control panels are made in our own Castle Vale workshop.

Our uniformed engineers install, test and commission everything, then stay on hand for cleaning, maintenance and breakdowns.

Our story
From a sheet-metal apprenticeship to a one-stop shop
The Springfield Group grew out of hands-on fabrication and installation work. Its director learned the trade on the workshop floor, and the business is still run that way today.

Starts as a 17-year-old sheet-metal apprentice, making ventilation duct in Birmingham.
- 1990s
Hand-fabricates canopies, tabling and ducting, then designs and installs systems UK-wide.
- 2000
Launches The Springfield Group as a one-stop shop for the full process.

Still family-run, manufacturing in Birmingham for customers across the UK.

Where are you based and which areas do you cover?
Our head office, manufacturing and distribution facility is in Castle Vale, Birmingham, close to the M6 and M42. From there we install for customers throughout the UK, with selected projects in continental Europe.
Who will I deal with?
The Springfield Group is a family-run business founded in 2000 by a director who started as a sheet-metal apprentice. Our director or design team usually visit the site, design the system and prepare the quotation, and the same team manages the installation.
